Business Leadership Symposium – Fort Worth, TX

The Texas Wesleyan Law Review will hold a Business Leadership Symposium in fall 2011, tentatively scheduled for the first week of November, that will focus on the legal challenges that business leaders and corporate attorneys face in the modern corporate setting. Abstracts are due June 1, 2011.

The Texas Wesleyan Law Review is pleased to host a Business Leadership Symposium in the Fall of 2011 on the general legal issues that today’s corporate attorneys must face as both legal professionals and business leaders. Specifically, we would like presenters and authors on topics that address the laws and regulations impacting your practice, as well as the general labor and employment issues impacting modern businesses. We are now accepting proposals for papers and presentations on issues related to this topic.

Interested authors and presenters should submit an abstract of approximately 500 words to txwesccsymposium [at] gmail.com by June 1, 2011. Please submit a resume or curriculum vitae along with the abstract. Authors and presenters will be informed by July 15, 2011, of the outcome of the initial review process. Final papers will be due by December 2, 2011. Papers accepted for publication will be published in a special Symposium Issue of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review.

The date for the Business Leadership Symposium is tentatively set for the first week in November and will be determined after the initial review process. For panel proposals, please submit the panel topic as well as possible panelists and a resume or curriculum vitae for each panelist. If you would like to serve as the panel moderator, please indicate this on your proposal.
