Reclaiming Global Governance — Waterloo, ON

The Canadian Foreign Policy Journal (CFPJ) is hosting a workshop entitled, “Reclaiming Global Governance: Prospects for an Uncertain World” in Waterloo, Feb. 5-6, 2013, in cooperation with the Balsillie School of International Affairs (BSIA) and the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI). Papers presented at the workshop will be eligible for publication in a special issue of CFPJ in autumn 2013.

We are seeking papers from junior scholars, particularly senior PhD candidates or individuals who have recently graduated from a PhD program (since January 1, 2006). Papers should explore global solutions to specific economic issues (e.g., trade, development, global finance), security issues (e.g., arms proliferation, territorial disputes, human security), social issues (e.g., labour, health, migration, development), environmental issues, or questions regarding bilateral and multilateral approaches to governance and institutional reform.
