Call for Papers: Technology and the Law

Washburn Law Journal will devote an issue to scholarship that explores the emerging relationship between technology and the law.

The constantly evolving nature of technology necessarily requires the law to adapt. This adaptation, however, not only results in statutory changes but alterations in legal procedure, practice, and teaching. The Journal is seeking submissions of scholarship that address the past, present, or future impact of technology on a particular area of the law or on a particular practice.

Scholars are invited to submit proposals, 3-5 pages in length, by August 1, 2012. Papers will be selected to ensure a wide range of topics. Final drafts of papers are due by January 7, 2013. The articles will be published in volume 52, issue 2 of the Washburn Law Journal in Spring 2013.
