Call for Submissions – Journal of International Law and Politics

New York University’s Journal of International Law and Politics (JILP) is currently collecting submissions for publication in Issue 45.4 (Summer 2013), a peer-reviewed issue that will feature international and interdisciplinary scholarship at the intersection of law and politics.

Accepted articles will be reviewed by three member panels whose members will be drawn from more than 40 NYU-affiliated scholars and faculty members with expertise spanning a wide variety of disciplines within international law. We encourage submissions from established authors as well as younger scholars, and we hope to attract the best ideas from many countries and legal systems. All content must have an international or comparative law focus, though we welcome analytical methodologies from interdisciplinary fields.

Priority submission deadline: Nov. 1, 2012  im

Submissions must be unpublished work between 10,000 and 25,000 words (including footnotes), but exceptions may be made for prior publication in draft form on SSRN. Articles to be published in a different forum within one year of submission to JILP will not be considered. Authors must send their submission in .doc, .docx, or .rtf format with all identifying information removed. In addition, please accompany your submission with your CV and a cover letter describing the work and the author’s background; this information will not be transmitted to the peers until after they have reviewed the submission. We request that you conform to the Bluebook style of citations or a comparable citation system.

Submissions must include the author’s name and “JILP 45.4 Submission” in the subject line of the email.
