Call for Papers: 100th Anniversary of the Revenue Act of 1913 – New York, NY

The New York Law School is pleased to announce a call for papers to be published in connection with its upcoming October 4, 2013 symposium, The 100th Anniversary of the Revenue Act of 1913: Marking a Century of Income Tax Law in the United States.

On October 3, 1913, President Woodrow Wilson signed into law the Revenue Act of 1913. This symposium and the companion issue will examine a century of change and continuity in federal income tax law, tax policy, and the practice of tax law, highlighting the pressing technical and policy issues that are yet to be resolved. The Law Review is currently accepting abstracts for papers to be considered for publication in fall 2014. Included below is a list of topics expected to be addressed at the symposium by prominent tax practitioners, scholars, and policymakers. The Law Review will also consider papers on other topics relating to the theme of the symposium.
