LETACI, the M.Sc. Program at the Law School of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro is promoting the “II International Seminar on Institutional Theory: Constitutional Courts and Social Reality” on November 6-8, 2013. The conference will address subjects on institutional and constitutional theories both in United States and Brazil concerning the Supreme Court and the Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), such as judicial activism, judicial supremacy and constitutionalism history.
Papers are invited on the subjects of constitutional courts, institutional dialogues, democratic theory and constitutionalism, and political and economic institutionalism.
