To include a spectrum of perspectives, we invite papers from scholars and practitioners interested in tackling topics related to professional liability of lawyers.

Papers may cover a range of topics, including those that relate to emerging theories of liability, empirical studies related to malpractice claims, malpractice insurance, criminal prosecutions of lawyers, and risk management issues.

Persons interested in participating in the conference should submit an abstract that is between 100 to 250 words. The abstract should include the proposed title and the author’s affiliation. Abstracts should be submitted to Professor Susan Fortney at susan.fortney[@]
