American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS)

The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS) holds its annual convention June 8-10, 2017, in Washington, DC. Topic proposals are due by Jan. 9, 2017.

The convention will open with a conversation with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 8 and will include a new interactive format on Saturday, June 10 focused on how attendees can make a difference.

All you need to do is click here and fill out the form provided. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Offer a short description of the proposed topic and explanation of why it should be highlighted at the Convention (no more than 150 words).
  • Suggest potential speakers who will represent a variety of perspectives.
  • Only proposals from dues-paying members of ACS will be considered. Not current in your ACS dues? Join or renew now – then submit your ideas.

The deadline for submissions is January 9, 2017. Please remember that ACS will make final determinations on content, panels, and panelists.
