We are seeking a diverse range of papers that discuss: the role of law, and its interaction with other fields, in the 21st century; how the instrument of law can be employed to respond to the challenges of the 21st century; future directions in light of recent social, political economic, scientific and environmental developments. Participants are invited to critique and apply law in unprecedented ways. We encourage scholars to be creative in their interpretation of the conference theme, and to adopt meanings that are in consonance with their research interests.
