Symposium: Public Interest Law — Madison, WI

The Wisconsin Law Review will hold its 2017 symposium on October 27, 2017. The symposium—entitled titled “Public Interest Mobilization and Access to Justice Movements in the New Democratic State”—will be held at the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, Wisconsin.

The one-day Symposium will explore the role of public interest law organizations in ensuring a strong democracy and civil society; examine cutting-edge empirical research in the access to justice field; and foster discussion and collaboration amongst academics, advocates, and public interest leaders. The Symposium will be a public event and consist of three panel presentations and a roundtable discussion over lunch.
