Transnational Law Summit: Creating Justice for Our Future – London, UK

King's College London

The Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London, presents the inaugural King’s Transnational Law Summit 2018 (KTLS): Creating Justice for Our Future April 10-13, 2018.

Themed ‘The New Human Condition: Creating Justice for Our Future’, the Summit places ‘justice’ at the centre of a wider, inter-disciplinary conversation about democratic politics, inequality, health and the environment in a volatile world.

Bringing together new and leading voices, attendees will question the changing conditions for legal practice and training today. Through workshops, readings, round-table sessions and film screenings, the 400 participants will collaborate on some of the most important challenges we are facing.

The four days of the conference are organized on themes:

  • Tues., April 10: The New Human Condition: Creating Justice for Our Future
  • Wed., April 11: Economic Justice, the Environment, Fiction and Poetry on ‘Displacement and Migration’
  • Thur., April 12: The Human Life, Health, Technology, Inequality, Migration, Film Awards
  • Fri., April 13: A Celebration of Sites of Engagement & Agency (SEAs); The London Declaration of Transnational Justice
