Northwestern University hosts InfoSocial, “a student-run conference dedicated to showcasing interdisciplinary graduate student research examining the role of technology in contemporary society,” March 9-10, 2018. The submission deadline has been extended to Dec. 15, 2017.
InfoSocial brings together graduate students in fields ranging from Computer Science to Law to showcase their novel ideas, methods, and innovations. This year, we ask for you to include of a brief paragraph in your submission that considers the ethical and social implications of your research. We accept submissions from HCI, Communication, Computer Science, Political Science, Law, Philosophy, Sociology, Information Science, Informatics, and other related disciplines with a focus on the interaction of technology and society.
