
The Denver Law Review will hold a symposium on animal law on February 9, 2018, at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Titled “Uproar: The Intersection of Animals and the Law,” the symposium
will explore the relationship between animal law and free speech. Topics discussed will include ag-gag legislation and litigation, issues arising under the religion clauses, administrative regulations, government transparency, the legal status of animals, social change lawyering, and wildlife law. Speakers include Vikram Amar, Martha Nussbaum, Will Potter, Kristen Stilt, and Steven Wise.
