CFP: Forced Migration Review

Forced Migration Review

Article submissions are requested for issue 61 of Forced Migration Review. This issue will have a focus on Ethics and Displacement and will be published in June 2019.

In the context of displacement, questions relating to ethics – the moral principles governing behaviour – are many, varied and, invariably, challenging. They include not only the more abstract (but nonetheless important) philosophical or moral considerations of obligation to those who are displaced, but also issues of practice relating to programming, safeguarding, research, data gathering and usage, new technologies, staff training and remuneration and media coverage, image use and terminology.

This issue will also have a special section dedicated to Forced Migration Review founder Barbara Harrell-Bond, who died in 2018. Due to limited space, authors are asked to contract the editors at fmr@qeh.ox.ac.uk to discuss potential submissions to this special tribute section.

The full call and submission instructions are available on the website. The submission deadline is February 18, 2019.
