Call for Papers: Symposium on Desegregation, Diversity, and Resegregation – Cleveland, OH

Cleveland State Law Review and the Education Law Association invite papers for a Symposium on Desegregation, Diversity, and Resegregation, which will be held in October 2014. Eight papers will be accepted for publication. Each paper shall be between 6,000 and 8,000 words. The first draft of your submission will be reviewed by a committee of members of the Education Law Association then sent to the law review editors. The editorial board of the Law Review selects submissions from judges, professors, and other legal scholars for publication and works with the authors to refine the articles in preparation for publication. All submitted papers will be thoroughly considered, though the Law Review has a preference for articles authored by scholars from the Cleveland legal community and this particular issue will also have a preference for members of ELA.

A first draft of your submission shall be due by June 13, 2014. All submissions should include a cover letter and curriculum vitae, and conform to the 19th edition of the Bluebook. Electronic submissions are preferred. Please send your inquiries and your submissions to ela@educationlaw.org. A final draft will be due on July 15, 2014.im
