Beyond the Water Wars – Davis, CA

University of California, Davis, School of Law presents Beyond the Water Wars: Collaborative Management Solutions For A Shared Resource on January 26, 2013.

This program will challenge the “water wars” cliché that has pervaded the history and media coverage of water in California.  To this end, the program will focus on opportunities for collaboration in water management and will explore possible resolutions for enduring conflicts. Panel topics include the Klamath Basin agreements; the All-American Canal and transnational apportionment; California groundwater and drinking water contamination; state water markets; water rights adjudication and the prospects of water courts; groundwater overdraft; water and energy; and salmon restoration science.
