The Institute for Globalization and International Regulation at Maastricht University will host Treatment Equal or No-Less Favourable of Citizens in a Globalising World: The National Treatment Principle in a EU and International Context on January 31-February 1, 2013.

The generous principle of national treatment is one of the cornerstones of the multilateral trading system.This conference, organised by IGIR/IPKM under the auspices of the European IP Institutes Network, provides a complete overview of this subject,  covering the whole domain of international economic law. As such  international trade and investment law, as well as intellectual property law will be covered by a number of authoritative practitioners,  academics and members of the judiciary.
