The deadline for submissions is November 22\, 2021.
\n\nAll scholars with an interest in regulation and governanc e are welcome to submit a proposal to be included in the CRN on Regulatory Governance programme of events. The CRN connects researchers with a focus on the stud y of regulatory instruments\, institutions\, and actors across a variety o f regulatory domains. The network examines how traditional as well as emer ging regulatory instruments operate in theory and in practice\, and it als o explores regulatory and compliance behavior\, culture\, and design. As i n previous years\, we envisage putting together a full-fledged stream of p anels\, roundtables\, author-meets-reader (AMR) and CRN New Books in the F ield sessions.
\n\n
How to submit
\n\n
T o be included in the CRN 5 programme\, please submit your proposal for a p aper\, panel\, or AMR directly through the LSA’s website by the Novembe r 22nd deadline\, and make sure to select the CRN 5 box fro m the dropdown menu. Instructions for the individual types of submissions are here and the submission link is here. After the November 22 nd deadline\, we will organize individual papers into thema tically linked panels with suitable Chairs/Discussants\, and inform you of the panel setup in January 2022\, before the registration date.
\n\n
You may also choose to write to us directly (at aleksandra.jordanoska@kcl.ac.uk and jmrex@bgsu.edu) to disc uss ideas for possible panels\, paper submissions or the organisation of A MRs\; for ideas of co-sponsoring a panel with another CRN or for help with setting up a panel on the LSA platform. We are very happy to help and try to put something together.
\n\n
We are also looking to put t ogether a New Books in the Field panel for Regulatory Governa nce books published in 2021-May 2022\, so please get in touch with your no minations.
\n\n
Note that the 2022 conference features hybrid components\, but all sessions will be either be entirely live or entirely virtual. There is a detailed meeting FAQ page with information as questions arise.
\n\n
Please also consider volunteering to be a Discussant/Chair to sessions. LSA limits the number of papers on which you can be the present ing author\, but there are no participation limits for chairs\, discussant s\, and readers.
\n\n
Co-sponsored pane ls: Regulatory Governance (CRN 5) and Technology\, Law and Society (CRN 37 )
\n\n
In an exc iting collaboration\, we are organising co-sponsored panels with colleague s from the CRN 37 on Technology\, Law and Society. We envisa ge the panels having a mix of papers on topics at the intersections of tec hnology and regulatory governance. We believe that this is a great opportu nity to inspire an interdisciplinary debate and establish research links. If you’d like your paper to be considered for a co-sponsored panel\, pleas e let us know at aleksandra.jordanoska@kcl.ac.uk and jmrex@bgsu.edu\, the submissions process is the same as above.
