Call for Papers: Review of Intellectual Property Law – Chicago, IL

The Sixth Annual Symposium for The John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law (RIPL) will take place on Friday, October 24, 2014, at The John Marshall Law School. The conference theme is “Art meets Law: The Intersection of Art and Intellectual Property.” The Symposium will bring together an inspiring group of individuals to publish their writings in our journal in the 2015 RIPL Symposium Issue and present their works at the symposium on October 24, 2014.

RIPL is pleased to extend an invitation to you to propose a paper on any topic encompassed by the theme of “Art meets Law: The Intersection of Art and Intellectual Property.” Please submit your proposal by June 15, 2014 to the Symposium Editor via email at the address listed below. Submissions should be Word or text files, double-spaced, in 12 point font. Accepted papers will be published and authors may be invited to present their works at the Symposium. RIPL is an honors law review comprised of top students participating in the internationally recognized IP program at the John Marshall Law School. RIPL is available in libraries across the world and is published online. These students have a variety of IP backgrounds, experience in trade secret, patent, trademark, and copyright law, and an extensive amount of editing experience. Since its founding, RIPL has earned accolades and judicial citation by publishing reputable authors, including Justice John Paul Stevens, Chief Judge Paul Michel, Judge Richard Linn and Donald Chisum.
