UNH Virtual Symposium: Rights & Responsibilities: Judicial & Legislative Responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic

The University of New Hampshire Law Review will host their Annual Symposium on October 23, 2020. The Symposium will be held online via Zoom. The theme of the Symposium is Rights & Responsibilities: Judicial & Legislative Responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

State and federal governments have taken various actions in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, including lockdowns and efforts to encourage social distancing; expanded unemployment insurance and other forms of economic stimulus; and efforts to expand testing and expedite development of vaccines and treatments. All the while, courts have addressed challengers to these efforts and have responded in their own ways. This symposium will consider the various responses to the Covid-19 pandemic and what they tell us about the role of different government actors in a crisis.

Abstracts should be submitted to Derek Kaufman at djk1039@unhlaw.unh.edu.
