Texas A & M University School of Law’s Center for Law & Intellectual Property presents “Intellectual Property in All the New Places” from April 15-16, 2016. This symposium examines new situations in which IP issues may arise, such as those surrounding cloud computing, 3D printing, synthetic biology and robotics. It explores the following questions: Should intellectual property rights be protected in these situations? What are the strengths and weaknesses of such protection? Are there alternatives? And how do IP rights interact with each other?
