The Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society (WJLGS) invites you to attend its 2019 Symposium: Race-ing Justice, En-Gendering Power: Black Lives Matter, #MeToo, and the Role of Intersectional Legal Analysis in the Twenty-First Century. The Symposium will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019.
The Race-ing Justice, En-Gendering Power Symposium will explore the topic of intersectionality between gender and race issues. A panel of seven influential scholars in the field will challenge listeners to consider how feminism and civil rights intertwine and diverge and spur conversation and reflection about what problems this presents in the modern era.
The Symposium is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the website.
